Default Oxygen sensor

i own a 1995 es300, was given to me from my parents about a year ago when they got a new car. The issue i have is that the check ingine light came on and i took it to the dealership to later find out a faulty oxygen sensor triggered the light. it would cost about 375 to have them fix it, but i was wondering if this is something i could fix on my own? any suggestions.. should i just have them fix it, is it complicated to fix.?

its just a wire with a plug on one side and its bolted into the exhaust (where depends on which bank the sensor blew on) Its not worth paying that much. If you want the toyota part its like $150 but you can get it cheaper. It should be a do it yourself. If you want more info message me.

on a 95 engine it shouldn't be that hard to change.. get yourself a O2 senser from autozone or whatever. it shouldn't run you more than 40bucks. .. change it yourself.. but make sure you find how which one need to be change.. do a search on this forum and you should find millions of threads on it

Go to http://www.oxygensensors.com or http://www.rockauto.com, and find the Denso OEM sensor(s) for your car. Good prices on those sites, plus they are factory parts

For a $150 retail part, I'd feel strangely uncomfortable going to Autozone and purchasing a similar part at a cheaper price since I'm sure the quality is sub-par.

What part # would be the right oxygen sensor to purchase from rockauto.com. I'm in the process of purchasing an oxygen sensor for the front part of the engine on the headers. But my dillemma is that there's two available for purchase but im not sure which one i need. If any one knows which one it is lets hear it thanks Sorry brand is Denso as mentioned earlier
