Default they are

5.25" on the door, 4" on dash, 1" on mirror pillow.

6x9" on the rear deck.

sub? ain't no sub for ES 300. unless you buy it, that would be any size you want.

I just blown my JL W3 and replaced it with Eclipse 10" Aluminum.

I have Eclipse all around and sub now. My dream just came true.

You can replace the 6x9 with 8" subwoofers. Just remember that you will need at least a small amp to power amp those subs.

I don't know what these guys are talking about also. I have a 98 and I think its just the same as the 97 so the front and rear speakers on the doors are 6 1/2 and the woofer is a 8". The woofer is shaped very werid. It's not like any other woofer. You can replace it but you have to cut some plastic to make it fix. If you wanna just save some money just add a bazooka tube.

I'm in the process right now. I think thats the best way to go because 97/98 es300 system already sounds decent you just need alittle more bass than the 8" woofer. I'm planning on buying the amplified 10" bazooka tube the RS model. I'll let you know how it sounds when I get it.

The bazooka tube is installed and it sounds nice. I bought the RS bazooka with the wired remote to adjust the bass level. FYI.... I took out the factory 8" sub because it was disorting to much so now all the bass is coming through that hole. I'm very satisfied with the tube.

Default soundz

Does anyone know what are the largest speakers that will fit in a 97 ES300, front & back? I also want to replace the sub with maybe a 10' or 12' if I can get it in there, I think the installed sub is better, I'm not into the "trunky" sounds. Also I'm thinking of going with MB Quart for all???
