truplaya dont pay anyone sooo easy....I found a diy on here....Quick rundown after you take them out of your car...Turn on oven to about 250 (i did 325 350 to speed it up.) and place them in their for less than five minutes. THis allows the goo that holds the assembly sealed to become soft enough that you can pry it open. The orange pieces of plastic comeout easy. Now since you took it apart take some time to clean it and dry it out well so your lights wont look as foggy. Use the meguires past to polish with soft cloth. Max time start to finish 45 minutes. Cost zero dollurs unless you go buy meguires. Oh yeah dont lose those funny gold clips that holds it shut. Oh yeah the mod for high beams bulbs to fit in other slot after filing down part of the plastic was a cheap mod that made me squint a lot less...lol
Just a note to the wise.
Don't go clearing your corners & sticking the same orange bulb back in. Then u just look like someone who couldn't afford a silver tinted bulb that's invisible. Who wants to go 2 the trouble, just to have a great big orange blob in there? LoL!
Finally got the pics. I did this like 2 months ago. The amber bulb is still in because it "keeps it legal". Oh and this is my 2nd ES. I could be the only one in Sac-Town with them so far (prove me wrong)
