good job. dont worry about the hood. you will get a flame though about the orange bulbs for your blinkers. go get the amber bulbs with the foil painting. they blend with the chrome better. great job!

Sylvania Silverstar sells corners that are metallic and blue when off so that you don't get that orangy color. but when on they are like regular orange bulbs.

I cleared my corners too. It took like 2 hours on the first light (cuz I didn't know what I was doing) and 10 minutes on the 2nd. I still kept the orange bulbs because the cops (if they're being a f@g) are pulling people over w/clear corners with or without blue bulbs.

OK, I'm older and not "with it". Can someone explain the purpose of this blacked out "modification ? I see no difference in the looks. Specter

instead of the chrome housing behind the clear headlight cover, it is blacked out for a cleaner look.

edit: on second look, the black appears to be mostly on the bottom of the headlight.

I'm thinking about doing this, but is is it possible to bend the -plastic?- chrome piece seperating the sidemarker/headlight so it flows more like some of the never car designs???... Maybe the lines make it look old

OK, so he took the light apart to spray paint the plastic part at the bottom of the housing... right ? Do you guy really think it looks better ? Seriously, I see very little difference. Maybe it makes sense "in person". Specter P.S. Take the time to fix the hood !

I hope headlights are all you cook in that oven.....looks like more grease is stuck to it than I got under my car
Specter: I'm wid you. Seems like a lot of work for not a whole lot of difference in the end result.
So the corners aren't orange anymore. So, what's wrong with orange corners, anyway? Maybe it's like "the grass is always greener" type of thing? The car came with orange corners, so they gotta be changed so they're different? I like my orange corners, so I guess I'm older and not with it either. But to each his own, I guess.
Personally, I'd be more concerned about how the bent hood looks than having orange or cleared corners on the headlights.

Looks like you did a good job though draikonz
