Recommend 5W-30 at a 6 month/ 5000 mile change interval (whichever comes first). Most people will recommend that you buy the OEM NGK or Denso spark plugs. Are you wanting to change the spark plugs because the car has issues or because it is time?

If you really want to know if your oil change interval is ok, recommend a used oil analysis. Internet search Blackstone Labs if nowhere is located in the US.

Any good quality oil will do... 5W-30. You may benifit with the "high mileage" blend. Try not to leave it in the crankcase too long.
A Toyota dealer supplied oil filter is also good. Be careful with the Fram brand of oil filter.

NGK spark plugs seem to perform better than Bosch in our Japanese vehicles.

Cool

Anything from mobil. 5w-30.
I would flush the oil right before changing it, but that's me.
5,000m dino, 7,500-12,000 for a synthetic. I would suggest not driving over 10,000m on a synthetic unless you're doing oil anylisis to actually know how long the oil can last, along with how the engine is wearing.

Never use Bosch/Autolite etc plugs. NGK or Denso ONLY.

I too would stick with 5w-30 (Mobil brand). 5w-30 has a larger operating range for colder temperatures and flows more freely that 10w-30 when cold. Seeing as you are "nowhere" I can't tell if it's a factor for you
My manual says it's ok to use both. The oil cap says to use 5w-30.

If you haven't been using synthetic I would not recommend starting or else you may have to deal with some seal leaks that you hadn't had to worry about before.

The toyota filter is good and affordable. The Mobil1 high efficiency filter is also good, but cost 2-3x.

I'd also stick with the Denso spark plugs as opposed to any other brand.

My oil filler cap states 10W 30 but almost everywhere I check ( even the Auto Parts stores) say that 5W 30 is the correct oil. Lots of mechanics post that you should always and only use what is stated on the manual or filler cap. An oil “expert” said that 0W 30 is the only one to use. Most agree that synthetic or conventional can be used but suggest synthetic is better. Some say don’t switch between synthetic and conventional because it can cause problem especially in higher mileage vehicles. My ‘97 ES 300 has moderate 155K mileage and I’ve just recently purchased it and working on a few issues. I know there are several post somewhat related to this question but I’d like to hear any new perspectives on this if anyone cares to chime in. Thanks all in advance.

If the oil cap says 10/30 probably should stick with that or look in your owners manual for the temperature rage you will be operating in.

Synthetic oil has a high detergent level in them. If your car has 155k on it and has only used conventional oil in it and you swap to synthetic, you will want to change your oil a little more frequently at first.

I purchased a used Camry years ago that the owner changed the oil every 10k miles for the first 100k miles on the car with conventional oil. I’m a synthetic fan and my first oil change was to synthetic. At 3k miles I changed the oil again and cut open the filter and was surprised by the crud that was in there. Next oil changes were at 5k and the car now has around 440k miles on it and my BIL still drives it daily.

As for switching to synthetic and causing oil leaks, that’s not quite true. Synthetic oil molecules are more slippery than conventional and will tend to go under worn seals easier. If it’s not leaking now the odds are it won’t after switching to synthetic.
But if you follow the internet “oil experts” and go to a 0-30 weight oil, my guess is you could run into issues.
