im getting my windows tinted thursday and dont know much about the percentages, so what does everyone prefer for there front and back? And does anyone know what the legal tints are for MA

I got mine tinted about four months ago, and have loved it ever since. I took a risk and tinted down to 30% -- GA law requires at least 35%. MA law requires 35% as well.

In case you are unaware, the percentage indicates the amount of visible light is allowed through -- thus, 35% means that 35% of the light is allowed through.

When I had my ES, I had my front and rear windows 35% tinted, and the back window 20% tinted.

i live in ga and i have 5% ive had no problems thus far and ive had tint on my cars for the past 1 1/2. it all depends on how dark you want it and how hard the police are in your area

damn 35% is legal limit? here in Miami, FL the legal limit is 25%. ill be goin down to 20 tho .

I liked the 20% (medium shade) on all windows appearance wise personally. If a cop pulled next to me at a light, I simply roll the front window down.....never had a problem in almost 14 years.

I almost always have my windows down anyways, they are only up when its extrememly hot outside. so i dont think ill have any problems.

so i went with 35 on the side windows and 20 on the back. I was suprised that it was the perfect amount of tint i was looking for. I'll post some pictures of my new baby soon.

I agree with hoebag 5 percent all the way around except i have 30 percent ALL THE WAY DOWN on the front windshield it is the best decision i have ever made!!!

Hows night time driving tho? it must be alot harder to see at night with the windshield tinted. but in the day it must keep the inside of the car much cooler. good job .
