Foul Odor in '06 ES330
When the air intake mode is the "outside mode" or when the A/C is on, I smell a foul odor in my '06 ES330. What causes this? This started to happen recently.

You may have something bacterial growing near the cabin air filter. Remove and check the filter. Refer to your owner's manual for instructions on removing the A/C filter.

ok, so my friend is driving down a busy road at night and all of a sudden a possum cuts right in front of him. being *sudden* as it was.... he smash it to pieces. sadly to say it didnt survive. but the whole point is my friend drove the next morning and turn on the AC and had a very foul ordor. so to my opinon try checking under the car or hood. and if thats not the problem try doing what "lexusk8" recommend.

when i first got the 02 es300, when i ran the A/C my eyes would BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRN! i changed the cabin filter (easy easy easy to do!), it all went away and had a better "cleaner" smell.
