5S-FE MT ECU V.S. 3vz-FE MT ECU?
I was wondering if their compatible...
because i'm doing a swap on my 3vz and i'm looking into getting a MT ECU and all i found was the 5S-FE MT ECU.

Are you doing an M/T swap?
And come on man, there is no way an i4 ECU is going to run a v6 which doesn't share a single primary sensor.

All you have to do is put a resistor on the 2 shift solenoids & torque converter lockup solenoid. The only differance is that when the ECU *wants* to do an A/T gear change, it'll drop the ignition timing to drop the shift shock. (Which causes an instant of mild power loss.)
I don't think the 3vz-fe's do it (I haven't opened my ECU in a really long time), but on the pre-vvt-i 97-98 1mz-fe's. You can ground a pin in the harness of the ECU from inside the case & turn an A/T ECU into an M/T ECU.

thats going to be tough...
i was thinking of grounding a pin... to see if 3vz can do it... if not i guess i'll go with the resistor to the solenoids and T converter.. which i'm not really farmilar with.
