Just got a TOm's SuperRam II (direct replacement) to replace my K&N air filter. It feel so much more quicker(better response) then my K&N one..

Thank god you bought an air filter. That sock with vasolene smeared on it was getting pretty direct wasn't it hahahahahahahaha Just a filter guys. Makes no differance to how the car drives. Tho it is cool to see someone here with a TOM's filter.

Your somewhat wrong, physiologically the loud noise tricks the driver into thinking its actually faster

I swear, I was about to to blows with a guy in a Chevy Malibu about his so called "cold air" intake...a pipe and a cone filter made 10 horses.

The JDM TOM's filter is pretty cool though

 

ahha... actually my i find that the TOM's air fiter give me a cool factor that any performace factor..

COOL > Performance

 

Ah yes the noise. I used to play around with a Weapon-R drag intake that would make the roar at 3,000 RPM, but nothing happened other than the roar.
