yea that is a lot of money haha. all the money i made over summer went straight into my car....4 new tires...front strut replacement, power window failure, replacement of basically all the outside lighting on the car etc etc. all in the span of 2 months...now i need to fix the oil leak in the engine and then check out my brakes since the light keeps on coming on randomly and disappears... i had so many plans for this car too until all these problems popped up

Woot! Installed! One more mod on the ES.
And a sharpish one at that!

Excellent suggestion, BizNav. Thanks!

Looks great! One question though. How much higher or lower is it from the bezel (i believe thats what it's called) than the original one?

The plain jane Toyota OEM shifter **** runs all the way down to the bezel.
The Levoc shifter **** runs down to about one inch above the bezel. They finish the look with an attractive, adjustable-size, soft-feel black cover that runs from the base of the Levoc **** to the bezel. You can see it, although it's not that noticeable, on BizNav's pictures above.

This thing really completes the look of the interior, blending with the woodgrain already on the dash. With the chrome accents and the motion of the shifter and control button, it's really tight.

Thats not exactly what I meant. I meant how much longer is the new shifter compared to the old OEM one?

Its actually little bit shorter than the oem shifter....technically speaking you can make it as short as you want...ive seen people who just cut the shifter with a pipecutter to give it short shifter look...
