I just recommended a pre-owned ES300/330 to a friend seeking a reliable and comfortable vehicle. His two major concerns are the real-world need for premium fuel and seat comfort on long trips.
I would like to hear from owners of this generation ES on these two issues. Thanks

I've never owned an ES from that generation, but I can tell you from my past experience with a loaner that the car is one of the most comfortable to drive in for long trips. The interior is immaculate with supple leather seating and easy-to-reach controls. Can't comment on the need for premium fuel but the best resource is to go by the fuel recommendation stated in the owner's manual. Hope this info helps

I don't have that generation but I have a 98 es and the seat comfort is great. I driven it from Arkansas to North Carolina 18 hours by myself and then from Arkansas to California (26 hours) this past February and it is great. No back pains no nothing besides the stretching from sitting so long. If the 98 is comfortable I would say that generation es should be better.
