Lexus Test Driver
i turn 18 on december 20th... 1993 lexus has 220,000 miles... got the car from my neighbor 2 years ago, he told me it had over heated and smoked... i inspected it and found a bad head.. i replaced the entire engine... just drove it today... runs beautifully!!!...he gave it to me for free and told me to cut his lawn for 2 years.. which is really 1 because who cuts the lawn in the winter???.....

My 16 and 19 year old sons share a '95 ES300. We have had it for 3 years. I think a used ES300 is like the older Honda Accords and popular with the 16-25 age group and a great, comfortable, reliable car that is more than a Honda Accord.
Typical pattern I see is 30 something leases or buys, turns in after 3-8 years and then 16-25 group buys them.

I'm about to turn 32 in a week (where do the years go) and I just picked up a 96 two months ago. It's got 142K and runs great. All of my previous cars were Mazda RX-7's so it should be interesting trying to get the lexus to look & perform a little better. Thanks to everyone on CL for putting together all this info, it really helps.

My car is an ES300 '98 with almost 54,000 miles. As to my first car, given to me as a college graduation present by my father, it was a brand new Volvo PV444 and the total price, out the door, was $1795.00. Suffice to say I now have a grandson who is almost 19 and finishing his first year in college.

33 - bought my '94 ES 4 yrs ago by accident. Was looking for a camry and saw this sweet ride with only 60K on it. Just recently hit the 100K mark a month ago and she's smoother then the 07 IS250 I got as a loaner when my 03 GX470 was in for service.
