I want to change my ES300 2002's taillight lamps like the new model lamps for ES330 2005. will it fit?

Yes, the '05 tails should directly bolt onto the '02 ES, although the '05 tails will have one less bulb from each tailight compared to the '02 tails but that difference shouldn't affect the installation process at all.

I wonder if anyone has done the full conversion yet..
will hid headlamps from a 2005-06 es 330 fit a 2003 es 300 and still have auto leveling/swiveling lights?

I bought a used set from ebay, however I ran into an issue during install.

MY ISSUE: My current bulb housing does not securely fit into the updated tail light. Before I start customizing things to make it work I am hoping for suggestions/help.

On monday I will call lexus to see if I can buy the correct bulb housing to fit the tailights. Until then has anyone ever experienced this issue???

Unless you find a 05-06 wiring harness assembly for the taillights you are going to have to do some custom work. Trust me that it is worth it for the aesthetics.

Has anyone found the solution for this conversion? I have an 02, and recently purchased the 06 tail light assemblies online. So I called the dealer about this swap and they made it sound like I need to do some custom work. If I knew this, I never would have bought these lights to begin with.

So do I need to just order the 06 wiring harness or what? Where do I find it?
