Default Missing intake manifold hose

Ok...ever since I've had issues with my ES's idling problem and smoke coming out the butt randomly, i knew it was burning too rich because it was the smell of gas...I've recently just examined the engine bay and I found this...A hose thats missing from the intake manifold which I believe could be what's causing the car to burn too rich. But the thing is, I don't know what leads to this connector and what the hose is called or where its supposed to connect to. Here are some pictures to guide ya'll through my problem.

Heres an image of it right under the brake booster hose

Heres another one of it at another angle

Heres one more of it zoomed out so you can see the Intake Manifold

And one more of the thing thats supposed to have a hose leading to it.

So any takes on what the hose thats supposed to lead to this called? Because it just appeared missing one day and I have no clue as to where it leads to...

Any input is appreciated .. Thanks!

Cool

Plug it. It's just a built-in vacuum testing port.
This will cause your engine to run lean & explains the idle. It shouldn't have anything to do with smoke.

Cool

Yup. I'd reset the ECU afteryou do it. Pull the EFI fuse a second & put it back in. Just... Run a descent sized bolt into the end of a hose that fits that so it seals. Easy enough.
