I'm in the progress of retrofitting '92 ES300 yellow projector fogs into my '97 fog housings. It's a good fit and I think it's very doable.

since the bulb is tinted blue, the output is slightly green. the wall is also green but you can really see it in the comparison. not sure which set of bulbs I want to use.

So what do you guys think? Any suggestions? I'm using this as an opportunity to practice a bit before attempting the HID retrofit. I already have the bulbs, denso ballasts, and e46 bixenon projectors. Look out for that thread in the future.

Almost forgot, new mod..

Netami strut bar. I'm not sure if it's the same as the other ebay strut bars but I did get it on ebay. Good fitment, improved steering and handling.

Sorry about the bad lighting. Please excuse the filthy engine bay too. :/

Well really, regardless of what the bulbs are marked. Normally bulbs with the same family all draw very close to each other. You see all these 80-100w low beam / fog light bulbs floating around. Really they about all draw 40-50w just like a normal bulb & have less output.

I didn't have to cut anything, it's an almost perfect fit. I'm thinking I can just run some long screws to hold the fogs inside the housing, similar to how people retrofit projector HID's. My main problem is the lenses. I want to get rid of the vertical lines, at least in front of the projector.

When I still had my 1st ES, I had these blue fogs. They were bright as h3LL.
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v450/sarang4ya/lexus/foglight.jpg)
No they were not like those falsely advertised blue bulbs. The light out put was like an HID. They were brighter than my headlights.

The Retrofit seems to be going along nice
I opted for the quick solution using the yellow film, but the beam isn't as yellow as the older ES projector fogs.
When you get them installed we should snap a few night shots and compare output, and color...
The Strut bar looks nice also, did you just look up Camry or Solara bars?
I got a similiar 1 as well, just without the holes drilled out.
Did you clear your stock turn signals?
