Heated Seats????
Anyone out there tried to put the switches for heated seats into a car that didn't come with it? I wonder if (like everything else Lexus does) the wiring and the mechanisms are already there. Maybe all you need to do is pop out the dummy plugs, and add the real switches from a junk yard, and boom heated seats. Or maybe not. Let me know if anyone has tried this. It would be a cool upgrade.

I cut holes in the dummy panels for rectangular toggle switches. One controls my strobe lights while the other will either control neons inside the car or a neon underbody kit...this is not that hard to do, use a dremel to cut holes to a circle then sand it down to a rectangle. Buy the switches at Radio Shack for like a cent or something...really cheap, but it works...

Brando,
It's not that easy. The wiring is not there and the heating elements in the seat are not there.
Basically, that means either you have to install new seats with heating elements or install just heating elements in the seats(do not know if that is possible), and you definately have to run wiring because cars do not come pre-wired for heated seats like cars come pre-wired for CD-changers or Cell-Phones.
