Default 2000 Clear taillights

I have a 1998 ES300 that I would like to change the the back lights to the 2000 red/clear. Is this possible? Any help is appreciated.

I know they are interchangeable - the trick is finding them. I also want to do the change.

'00-'01 tailights can be found on Ebay if you wait patiently as they are not a particularly popular selling item. You can also try to peruse at your local junkyard or salvage yard for a spare 2000-2001 ES300 for parts.

I just did the conversion about a month ago
97 tails to 01 tails

previously I was looking for the tails for months
laxusk8 is right they are very hard to find for a decent price best bet it to buy them piece by piece

average about $50-$75 each piece & I wouldnt pay more than that & fyi I think that is to much!
I got lucky & bought my friends 01 ES that was totalled so I got most of my upgrades at once.

check car-part.com & eBay
