howdy folks...
Just finished an oil change with fresh Castrol Syntec 10W30
usually, I use a fram oil filter with every change, but this time I decided to try out a bosch oil filter.. A significant difference I see between the two are the tops because the Fram has better grip while to screw on the bosch one, you have to use a wrench to get a good grip on it.
What oil filters do ya'll usually use to change your oil? What are some good recommendations for some? What type of oil do ya'll use?

Phoenix, you seem to know your stuff when it comes to engines. What about Puralator oil filters?

I used to use Castrol Syntec, but now use Mobil 1 Synthetic. I've read in several places (online) that Mobil 1 uses more and higher quality (more expensive) additives. I've also read a long term independent test that showed that Mobil 1 maintains viscosity better than Amsoil (Amsoil thickens).
