Cleaning Mass Airflow Sensor?
#2
No its not hard....its very easy...just take out the stock airbox, disconnect the intake vacuum hose, and unscrew the sensor from the airbox and there you go...clean it as you wish..but its pretty pointless to take it out because it doesn't get dirty...all the carbon buildup is inside the intake manifold or somewhere in the engine...You should really clean the part where the vacuum hose connects to the intake manifold because theres some carbon gunk buildup over there most of the time.
It's pretty easy to do so. Good luck

No. Just pull the MAF off, soak a q-tip in isopropyl alcohol & run it down the hot-wire. More productive, is to clean the throttle plate, idle valve & EGR valves (if equipped). And clean out the intake ports & itnake manifold.
But I'm glad you're cleaning the MAF wire!
