ES300 clips and retainers
Does anyone know where you can purchase clip and retainers for Lexus vehicles? I need to re-attach a plastic arch that partially goes over the back wheel well with 3 clips. Checked several websites including Northland, RockAuto and Dorman but none have an extensive list of parts.

Since there are so many types of clips and retainers, your best bet is a Lexus Parts dealer. They have the master parts catalog for your car, and if they don't stock the parts, they can order them for you. They shouldn't be very expensive.......and it'll save you a lot of aggrevation.

Not sure if you have any parts stores or even paint and body supply stores in your area. I'm currently restoring a wreck 93 ES300 and have found good trim products at advance auto parts and autozone. The clips don't have to be exactly Lexus to work, you normally can find an alternative solution. Good paint and body supply stores have huge assortments they will let you dig through to get the right fit. Most of the time you can come up with a better and tighter fit solution. Hope this helps.

I re-fabricated fiberglass epoxy mounts for mine. I found on the front of the car that big zip-ties hold much tighter & work easier to boot than the push-clips.
Now you destroy them to remove them... But then again they're like $5 per 100.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll see if I can pull it together with a couple of zip ties. One side if the plastic piece is teld on by 2 screws but the clips keep it from popping out.
