Default My ABS Light is ON (ES300 '99)

Guys
i have just replaced my shock absorbers and when i started the car the ABS light turned on!!!!!!

is there a fuse to be replaced to resolve the issue or do i need to take the car to the dealer and lost few hundreds!!!!

Pleaaaaaaaaaase help

Why don't yous can the code to see what the problem is????
Most likely you killed an ABS wheel speed sensor. Check the wiring, and check the sensor is still in alignment.

What code??
i did not touch the brakes and i checked the sensor it looks fine!!!

is there a fuse for ABS? my shocks are electronic type is there a possibility that i blew a fuse while plugging and unplugging the old and new struts?!?!?

Is it just the abs light thats on because when i broke my speed sensor it was the abs and trac light that came on. Mine broke due to suspension replacement also.

Did you install the struts yourself or did you get it done? If you did do it, do you recall how careful you where with the brake disks? The speed sensor cable is delicate so if you dropped the disk the wire probably got cut from the inside. You will need to replace the cable.

Who ever replaced your struts may have broken the speed sensor wire,it happend to mine,but I repaired mine using an even stronger wire from a O2 sensor,but you may just want to buy your if it is broken!!
