Lexus service says that the fuel filters in our cars never need to be replaced as they should last the lifetime of our vehicles.

The service manuals say every 30,000 and my car is idleing a little rough at 750 rpms after a seafoam flush. Thought maybe some gunk got stuck in the filter and was starving the engine fuel injectors.

I would replace it with an OEM one.

I don't know... I really think I need to replace mine. It's the only thing I haven't replaced on the car (MAF, idle control, air filter, oil filter [duh]) besides injectors and I'm only averaging 16-17 mpg
