Default ANother tranny problems thread

So yesterday im driveing my car like normal and i come to a stop.....of the stop the car started fine but then had trouble shifting...so i thought ok normal problem thats apparent on this board....but now the car takes a while to shift, and when it does the whole car SHAKES...its especially bad from stop signs and while turning...gears 3-4 do not seem to be affected...any ideas????

check tranny oil and mounts. and how much milage do you have on your tranny?

could be a problem.

Sounds an awful lot like a torque converter not disengaging but it could be a number of things.

It's probably the torque converter. Have fun. My ES300 has done this twice now, once under warrenty, once out of. It was over 2k to fix.
