Default '96 Radio in a '92 Car

We just purchased a radio from a seller on Ebay who swears the radio worked. We tried it, it doesn't turn on, light up, anything. There is power coming from the car, but its not getting to the radio. Does the radio have a fuse that we can change? Or should we just ship back to seller and get our money back?

IIRC, the '95-'96 radio systems require a different wiring harness to make them swappable on a '92-'94 ES. You may have to go to the dealer to get a wiring harness for the radio.

And when you get the right wiring harness, post up the part number for the rest of us who may do likewise?

Thanks

Thank you for your help. I will call the dealer today and find out more and as soon as I know that it works, I'll give part numbers.

OK - here is the deal. I called the dealer and they were clueless, but did suggest to call an OEM place like Best Buy or Circuit City. They do have the wiring fix - but you need two purchase two of them. Anyways, found out the radio itself doesn't work. Back to the beginning again. Thank you for your help!!
