My brother has a TC and I have driven it, that car is a 4 banger with no power!! I think you can take him. For 200 bucks you should put your car on neutral rev the gas lightly and slam it to drive!!! That should give you some pick me up at the start of the race.

Cool

Whoops my bad.
Still doesn't make a differance. 0-60 in 7.8, 1/4 mile in 15.7 is a LONG way off to > 7s 0-60 and > 16s 1/4m times.

You'd need to drop the spare, tools & passanger seat. put on a y-pipe & an intake to run with him. Or a y-pipe & tune the mixture abit.

At any rate, it's still real acedemic. There's just no way LoL!

Short on power? Then why are they faster...
Curb weight of 2905lbs VS the 3300lbs+ on the ES, and the 2zz-fe isn't exactly lacking.

tC drivers are funny. One one hand they are great guys (I know a few). On the other hand, they remind me of Civic owners (not a good thing).
Who cares if he wins the race, your in a Lexus. And you need to tell him yall are cousins and if not for the success and money Lexus made Toyota, Scion would probably not exist.

the only strategy i have for this run is PUSH IT TO THE LIMIT im 100% sure i got this...its most likely going to be a highway run....and i know i can lose a 4banger pretty easy after hitting 85-90+..anyway it wont be till next week

Don't do a race from the stop, do one when both of y'all are rolling @ 40mph. Then you'll have the power advantage.... ANYWAYS, don't race a 1/4 mile. Make sure you go for a full mile run. You'll take him on at 85mph+

I would say a nice somewhat curvy Highway probalbly about 1 1/2 miles just so you can top it out on him still DO NOT race him from a stop

Don't race at all. You're not close 0-60, you're not close down a 1/4 mile run.

The only way you're going to beat him, is to suck him into a race passed his 127mph rev limiter. Oh... And you won't overtake him until he cuts off so.... Boy you better have 3 miles of flat interstate to run him on.
