Shift Solenoid E Malfunction/Electrical
These are the two codes my car is throwing. It is a 96. They are P0770 and P0773. I am very mechanically inclined, can someone tell me if this solenoid is replaceable? My car is failing inspection for the CEL, here in NJ we have ridiculously strict inspections these days.

ive had this very code since i purchased my car. any idea how much it was to fix, and what IF ANY replacement part it was. when talking to my lexus parts guy, he seems to think that its electronic and no really a solid pat. but again, hes the parts guy and not the service guy.................anyone?

The diognostics section of the book I say to download says it is replaceable.
