Reliable repair needed in Dallas, Tx
With 81k miles on the car I need a few things done. Water pump, timing chain, plugs, tranny fluid. Know anyone you can trust besides the Steeler?

This is where I take my Lexus for all repairs and maintenance.
I've found them to be honest, open, straightforward and, as a bonus, Lexus enthusiasts. They're Lexus-trained and that's all they work on.
Check the site - there're two locations; one near downtown Dallas and the one I use up in Plano.

Davenport or JPI. Davenport does a very nice job with better prices than the stealership, they have 2 locations in DFW I believe. Jason over at JPI does excellent work as well, he's over in Garland off 635. Call them both, get estimates etc. Ive used both and both were top notch.

I haven't used JP, but I have used Daveport for the past 3 years and have received great service. Never oversold me, always addressing my needs and very reasonable. I don't get a Lexus to drive while in for service but they do have loaners if your service requires several hours of work. My family and I have used Sewell near Love Field and if you know that dealership, the benchmark is high. I also have two friends/neighbors who have had great experiences with Davenport. Not a fancy place, but they do take care of your car and do a great job and that is what you are really paying for in the first place.

Thank you! I will check them out. I believe I will tackle the spark plugs but leave the timing belt, water pump and thermostat to them as I do not have all the special tools. Thanks for the advise; it will not be waisted!
