Default Unknown Es300

Please forgive my ignorance but I have a question.
Yesterday I was driving in back of this Gold Lexus ES300... I am guessing a 94.
Everything looked normal but I saw 2 mufflers. I was like "2 mufflers??"... then, It did not say ES300, it said something else.
HEY ! I was NOT drunk OK !!

Can anyone please explain what I saw? Is there such a limit production type of car? why I have never hear of it? Perhaps the car is coming from Canada or something?

Thanks

Uh, you must be drunk. LOL.

The ES300 never came with dual exhausts. Just 2 round tips on the 92-1996 model ES300s. And there were no special edition ES300s that would have had dual mufflers. The 1992-1996 only had 2 special edition models, one was the 1994 ES300 5th Anniversary edition and the 2nd was the 1996 Coach Edition. Neither had dual exhaust.

The ES300 in Japan is called the Toyota Windom. And the ES300 is not sold outside of the US, Canada, the Middle East and a few other countries. but the Windom is EXACTLY the same as the ES300, no real differences. they have the same engine, trasnmission, body panels, and performance. And there never has been a performance version of the Windom either in the US or anywhere else on this planet.

If you're sure it was a ES300/Windom you saw, the person probably had a custom Dual exhaust setup installed on it or it wasn't a ES300/Windom at all. Could be another Lexus product.

That's a very rude thing to say. Being active in the community is not bad at all...

I agree with skinny -- some people do a Y-Pipe aftermarket conversion with dual mufflers.

I've noticed that you are the exact same way. No wonder you felt you needed to say something. Being active in the community is one thing, but adding your little 2 bits to almost EVERY thread is a little obsessive. You don't even own an ES300, so I wonder where you became such a self appointed expert on all subjects?????
What a fruit!!! Richie, one of the most active CL members, doesn't even own a Lexus and still has one of the highest post counts and lots of respect from virtually all CL members, including myself. You don't have to own a Lexus to post here (obviously you think that's a must for membership). And I never said that I was an expert on all subjects (prove me wrong on this one). You need to pull your head out of your ***, bucko. In doing so, more oxygen will reach your brain, which should (key word: SHOULD) help you be kinder and more respectful.

Hi!
No, I'm not buying it. I was just curious that the car had dual exhaust... and it did not say ES300. This is the first time I see a car like this....

Thanks for your time...
