Default lip kit

I have 18 inch rims on my ES, and my car looks incredibly high with them on. I don't want to lower my car bc i love the way that it rides right now. My question is: does anybody know how to locate a lip kit for the 92 ES300? I have done searches for it and come up with nothing, so i'm wondering if there is one that is compatible with this gen and i just don't know about it. any suggestions guys?

Have you peeked in this thread to find a lip that you like on a car of the same generation?

I'm lowering my car, buying new wheels and tires and a body kit, and based on advice from some senior members, I started my search for a body kit in that same thread and actually found one I really like and plan to purchase.

Just an idea I'm passing on...

the only way to make your car look lower is to lower it. you won't lose ride quality if you get the right suspension. as for a lip for the 92 ES, i'm not too sure what's availiable.

with a lip kit you'll just look that much dumber...what exactly are you trying to acheive other than a terrible look? Lowering it will improve your handling, and you'll still have generally the same ride depending on your amount lowered. I'd go with some eibachs, I had them on my old accord and hell, 2" made a ****load of a difference on corners and it still rode very nice!

Yea i was originally thinking about lowering it and doing a lip, but i had been told that there are problems with lowering the 92's for some reason. If there is no danger and I can get the right suspension with a quality ride then yea i'd love to lower my car. Whatya think?

Thumbs up

I think now you're on the right track. (The same track I'm on with my '92 as a matter of fact). There's a sticky about the suspension parts for your 2nd generation ES300 in this forum as well.

Good luck!
