Default Leaking fuel pressure regulator?

Recently I have smelled gas inside the car and diagnosed the problem as a fuel leak. I can notice a drip off of the fuel pressure regulator, I am wondering if the FPR is bad or are there gaskets inside it that can be changed? Has anyone else had this problem. The car is a 97 es300.

Is your check Eng light on? A bad FPR should set a lean code on a 96+.
