E46 projector retrofit and new car
hey guys, i finished the projector retrofit a while ago, and it was my first time doing it. they are e46 bixenon with 5000k philips bulbs. i've gotten a new car since then, a 1998 diamond pearl white GS400. my sister drives the ES300 now so she's looking pretty cool in high school.

Very creative with the beer can shrouds. Looks like they do not cover the openings in the projectors though. I see alot of refraction in the pics.
I like it though. Wish more guys in the ES forum would make this jump to HID. Truly a superior lighting compared to reflectors
I thought about going this route. I could not fit the projectors inside the housing on the high beam side. I have a set of audi a4 projectors (very small) that I was going to use, but they were hitting on the plastic lens and would not let me seal them up properly. It is a ***** to align dual projectors.
I like it though. Wish more guys in the ES forum would make this jump to HID. Truly a superior lighting compared to reflectors
