Default 95 lexus es300 hid kit what are the options

any good hid aftermarkets kits for 95 es300?
The es300 release hid headlights as an option in 00, 01, can it be swapped if i purchase it from a junkyard, how easily?

what are the brightest bulbs that you can use if i don't convert to hid kit? the number is 9006 for low beam and 9005 high which is never used.

The HID kits from the '00-'01 ES cannot be swapped with the '95 ES as they are a totally different design. You're going to have to purchase an aftermarket HID kit made for the '95 ES from places like http://www.xenondepot.com or Ebay.

If money is not an issue for you go to www.xenondepot.com , Iv heard the have good quality HID kits and I'm planning on buying one soon. If you're on a budget try ebay or search for other sites that have them cheap, they wont be the same quality but you'll save a little $$$$.

Banzai Express is a place that several folks on my other forums, such as the Legacy board, have used with success.

I've heard multiple complaints on several boards from folks who've purchased anything higher than 4300k. The complaints range from "crappy cutoff lines" to "poor coloration" to too much glare.

A few folks put up a good face and claim they're happy with the higher ks, but I think that's because the check's already written and the lights are already installed.

I wouldn't buy any thing over 6000k. The light output on the road from an 8000k light bulb is weak. Strains on the eyes after a little bit. Kinda like reading with weak lighting. Makes you tired.

Looks cool from the front of the car with the blue lighting. I had 8000k on my car before I switched to 5000k. Big difference. Blue/white from the outside of the car, white/yellow from inside the car looking out. And with 8000k, you have to worry a little bit about the police, since that color is illegal for headlights.

Just so you know man, the higher the temperature, the weaker the lighting is. the only difference is color, at 4300k you get a white/yellow color which is very bright, at 6000k you get a pure white/slightly bluish color with a little less brightness than 4300k. With 8000k you get a very blue color, but less brightness than 6000k. IMO 6000k is the way to go .

HIDs are getting cheaper and cheaper.......ppl are picking them up in nyc for like $130. However, the quality of those kits remains questionable. I bought my HELIOs kit for $250 last year and they're still working fine.
