Black out headlights ...err not my cup of tea. Aesthetically..It doesn't go with the car..the turn signals are chrome, while the headlight is black...
I like the grille though! maybe I'm gonna paint my grille like that too If i were you, I'd do a light graphite on the headlight housing and the turnsignals

I was more thinking about doing just the headlight chrome, if id do the turn signal with anything i dont think you would be able to see it... am i wrong? i dont think the turn signal will show as much if i black it out... I gotta figure out how that grill was done or where he got it from :/

Now there's ...

TWO HOTTIES in this thread! Nice job.

Hate to say anything non-positive, but I think I do still like the black OEM grille better. There's some body color (or white) something showing thru your grille there.

At least you can claim originality!

Don't really like the grill, but what you did to your Lexus badge is really cool! Good work on that.

Definetly paint he silver mesh black! Otherwise it stands out to weird, since your grill is now black.

Hey E-Z

She's coming together well....looking really great!
You sure don't waste any time doing the mods! LOL
I'd still be debating (with myself) whether or not I liked the idea and wanted to go for it. You just jump right in and get at 'er!
I would paint the lower mesh black too. Then your whole front end will match up really well.
So I guess you're saving the transfer of your steering wheel over to righthand drive for last.....hahaha!

Why not do your headlights in black chrome?

Hha black chrome is on your advatar pic. Its the chrome used in the 95-96 headlights. If you find the exact paint match could you post brand/color code?
I'm planning on taking apart my headlights to paint the sidemarkers in a darker chrome color to match the rest of the headlights AND to sand out the diffuser part in the lens. I wonder if anyone has done that before?!
