Default Whining Noise while driving from Acc. Belt

Hey Guys, been a thread creeper for quite a while, finally have a problem where I couldn't find any solution using the search. I have a high pitch whining noise that is getting quite loud coming from around the accessory belt. A mechanic who fixed my exhaust mentioned that is sounds like it's coming from the A/C. However I have the noise with the A/C on or off. Could it be the bearing ? and if so can this just be replaced?

The warmer weather is starting to come up here in Canada and I would like to be able to drive with my window's down and not be annoyed by this sound.

Any insights would be appreciated
btw: I have a 1995 ES300 with 175,000km

Also forgot to mention, that the noise is really only loud between 2k and 3k RPMs.

Does this noise happen only within 2-3 min after start-up, or is the noise constant whenever the car is in drive? It's possible that the accessory (serpentine) belt is losing its tightness or cracks may be developing on the ribs of the belt.

The noise is constant, whenever it is in drive. I originally thought it might have been the belt, but I only hear it between 2k and 3k RPM. I talked to a mechanic, he said that he could replace the A/C bearing. He said said that if I could find the right bearing, he mentioned (30BGS100D ST2 Nachi ) that he could replace. Before I go out and find this thing I just want to make sure that the symptons I have point to a failed bearing.

Checked out the belt and it looks fine.

I found this bearing off a parts place online, does anyone know how to remove the bearing off the A/C ?

When my 93 started with that wining sound, it turned out to be the power steering pump that was going out. I just pulled it myself and replaced it with a remanufactured one. Whine gone. You may look to see if your PS pump is leaking or if the pulley is loose.
