It depends, The dealership i go to is both Toyota and Lexus but they have seperate service departments. I have friends that work on the Toyota side so if they are there when i go in i go to them to get everything for free if not i go to the Lexus side.

Toyota dealership for simple stuff that I'm not confident in fixing myself and Lexus if it is Lexus-specific like my auto-leveling problem I had. Toyota is cheaper and about a mile away from my house so why go to a more expensive Lexus dealership 70 miles away when I don't have to.

I get my parts from the Toyota dealer across the street from my work. They always have what i need and their inventory is cross-refrenced to Lexus parts. Plus my car gets drools from the parts counter guys cuz theyve never seen a 5 speed ES before.
The lexus dealer charges 15% more for the exact same Toyota-branded part.

I've always had my Lexus' (RX,IS,ES) serviced at Lexus dealerships; however, am seriously considering just going to Toyota to save some $$. Come on, I just paid $70 for a simple oil change on my '04 ES, that's ridiculous. (Lucky for me I have always used my Lexus points from my Lexus Visa card, so I usually don't spend much out of pocket.) Toyota is the same service, no? Just don't have the plush lobby and good snacks.

With the last Land Cruiser I went the Toyota dealer and now, I continue the tradition with my two Lexus to go to the Lexus dealer.
