i purchased a 1993 5 speed es with black cloth..or dark charcoal.. it was the dark color interior that i liked, but it turned out to be cloth..too bad..Then it turned out to be a 5 speed model when i wanted an auto. must have been the base model es i bought it anyways because it was cheap and in good condition. ..of it didnt have a sunroof i would have not bought it. also i think one of the needles are burning out.

 

Our 1997 Pearl Blue ES300 doesn't have a moonroof but it does have leather. When I asked the dealer about a non-leather version, they said it had to be special ordered. One of our friends has a non-leather 1999 ES300. It was because she was buddhist and she didn't believe in using products made from animals?

 

I saw a white 2g es with no roof and dark gray cloth interior. It was odd.

 

how rare is it to have cloth and 5-speed manual transmission?

I'm really curious now too I gotta see that interior. I've never seen any lexus without leather, and I've seen quite a few, I work in the ghetto so I see beat second gens all day and night. I have seen one five speed. I can't recall any without a moonroof either. I owned one car without one and I loved the car but I couldn't deal with it just not enough light it depresses me lol.
