What GEN Navigation disc?

I was looking in ebay at Lexus navigation discs for sale and the ads spoke about Gen 3, or Gen 4, etc., then ver. 5.1, 6.1, etc. Does anyone know what all of this means, My system (on a 2005 ES330) has a disc marked W41 D, vers. 4.2
