I have a 1992 ES300, I currently have an aftermarket radio installed by the last owner. Problem is they currently have the front speakers only hooked up. I pulled the radio and found a metra like harness with 4 rca males. 2 were connected to the radio for front speaker sound. the rears are not (I guess cause the radio only has 2 female RCA holes?) My question is do I need to use the RCA jacks or could I just splice the RCA wires and connect directly to the radio. I looked under the passenger seat and it looks like the amp still has the factory plug still in the amp. Wil this affect sound issues? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

I think the amp will only except low level input not speaker level. If the radio only have 1 pair of rca output I would buy 2 splitter to split the signal, so you could use all 4 plugs on the metra harness.
