I live in a pretty rural area where there aren't too many Lexus cars around. I might spot one or two per week, if I'm lucky. So, on Saturday, a buddy and I decided to take a cruise up to Golden Ears Provincial Park for the day, since it was great weather. We had to take a small ferry across a river to get to the highway that leads to the park and as it so happened, we ended up right behind a nice (same year as mine) ES300 in the ferry line-up. We were parked side-by-side on the ferry, like a mini 2 car lexus meet.
Then after docking on the other side of the river, we decided to stop for lunch at a restaurant before making the rest of the journey to the park. When we came out of the restaurant there was another ES300 parked a few spots away from where we parked.....so that's two in the space of an hour.
Then when I got back home late that afternoon, I decided to take the car to the local car wash b/c it got pretty dusty from travelling a few kilometers on gravel roads while in the park (which incidently is huge and covers many hundreds of hectares of forested mountain). So, I'm just pulling into the car wash lot and at exactly the same time, a nice silver SC430 with the top down arrives (being driven by a gorgeous young blonde woman
I might add) and 10 seconds later a sweet looking white GS350 pulls in as well !!
So, is it the sunshine and warm weather that brings all these nice Lexuses out onto the roads all of a sudden?!?

That's all too common here in Dallas. Kids get them as starter cars and then get exotics for high school graduation presents.

In my suburb you see mostly Toyotas, Lexuses and BMWs. It's bizarre. In fact we have most of our meets on this end of Dallas because of how many Lexuses are here. You drive around and see that Toyota knew exactly what they were doing coming up with the L-brand; it was a great and timely idea!
