Default Pics of my head gasket

Hey y'all I just got done pulling a blown head gasket off my 94 legend, I bought it from my friend for $600 as my first project car. Let me just say that the es300 is WAY WAY nicer, smoother, more reliable, faster, more efficient, and better looking. I can not believe the difference is quality between comparable models and years of Lexus and Acura.

Just thought you guys would be interested in the pics. Oh and that fluid in the upper left is the coolant that leaked out of the radiator...

I would have to say the one advantage about it being a legend is that there is a really good forum with a complete DIY thread. It had great pictures and really helped, actually (I don't have it back together yet) it hasn't been bad at all. The legend owners are way enthusiastic and helpful, I feel confident enough that I could change almost any head gasket now....

Took me about 15 hours to get it off, this is my first big fix...

Yeah, I was considering getting a legend as well, but I know all about the blown head gasket problems that plague them.

Cool

What makes you think Toyota's gaskets were any better?

All head gaskets were ****ty until modern MLS gaskets.
