We did this for a friend a while ago so he could add aftermarket amps without going through a line out converter or oem interface and he also wanted satellite radio without a dash mounted plug and play. We could of gone with a double din custom build as well however he chose a single din in this perticular case.

Looks pretty clean. It's funny, Lexus had their own radio controls spread out all over the OEM bezel. So when you clean it up and the aftermarket radios controls are all contained ON the radio, the custom bezel looks rather bare.

But it's clean though. Was there any room behind the bezel to allow for a custom pocket (for the MP3 player, etc.) or something like that?

Yeah looks legit! Though I like the look with all the buttons of the OEM.
