Open up the armest and remove the screws in the bottom of the console. Then carefully pop up the wood trim around the shifter with a flathead screwdriver from behind (under the ebrake) and there are a couple more screws under there. Then directly under the ebrake there is a little plastic cover that pops out and I think there was one under there too. I *think* that is all of them but I can't remember exactly (I did this almost a year ago). I don't think you need to remove the stereo to pull out the console but you may, I already had mine out at the time so I cant say for sure. Hope this helps somewhat.

Just pry it up with your fingernail or maybe a small flathead. It should just pop up as there is nothing really keeping it down.
