Default 92 es cooling fan

Hi, My question is that i replaced the powersteering cooler with a aftermarket transmission cooler, because i had a hard time trying to put the stock back on. after installing it on i tried jumping the wire for the fan but no change in speed. what would be the problem? Could it be the fan module thats on the glove compartment or the powersteering solenoid thats on the pump? How do i check these to see if it's working? PLEASE HELP!
