Well, I painted my rotors and calipers silver.

Bought the caliper paint that they sell on tirerack's website. Overpriced I would say, but it is a high quality paint. You only need 1/4 pint to paint all 4 calipers and rotors with 2 coats of paint. (kit is 1/2 pint-2 part mix)

I painted my calipers silver to prevent them from rusting.
i would have gone with the gunmetal coler by duplicolor though.

Nicely done. I would've like black calipers more to match your car but it's still nice.

I was going to do just that, but decided to throw in the silver. I painted my last car's calipers black and they looked ordinary. Nothing special.

Problem is that I bought vinyl "Lexus" decals to put on the calipers when I thought that I was going to paint them black. Now that they are silver, I don't know if putting them on will be noticeable.

Quick on this has anyone with an es had luck putting the lexus decal on the caliper.

I have read that people put clear paint over top of the decal to lock them into place.

I've heard of it to but due to the shape of our calipers I really would like to see some pics to see if you can really do it.

Thanx for the compliment. You should have seen the way they looked before I painted them, rust city. I'm feelin you on the lazy part, took me 9 months to paint mine.

Lazy ha i've been rebuilding 3 cars to sell for 3 years.
