help with selling car
I'm trying to sale my 1991 Lexus Es 250......problem is that it's a high mileage car...156,000 to be exact....although i haven't driven it for about two weeks.
I got lexus factory rims that went with that model just a couple years ago...the car was bought by parents brand new back in jan '91. It's got all records. Leather is still in nearly brand new condition...no rips...and nearly no cracks in leather (i have had leather redone though) great mechanical condition....the check engine light has been on for three years...and lexus told us back then that it was just a sensor thing...they reset it....and it came back on again when i went over a monster speed bump....ANYONE KNOW HOW TO RESET IT??? also just got a new timing belt...and my parents got a new power steering pump put in just before i got it (which was the only problem with car ever)....anyway......i have had it in the local autotrader for about a week and half now....not a single call on it yet......im asking $6,000 (only cause its the best looking es250 i have seen around here, although i havent seen many...but when i do..they look all dirty and beat up....and mine is always shining) what do you think??? is $6,000 way more than its worth....kbb.com says that retail on it is over $6500...although trade in is only !!!!$3,600!!!!...any help or advice would be appreciated

by the way...im new here....and does anyone know how to get a check engine light off......dealer has already said that its not a problem ....and they reset it...but came back on.......
and about how much would a 1992 and 1993 LEXUS es 300 that is loaded and has 70,000 miles on it be worth if it is being sold by a private party.......certainly no more than $10,000....right????
AND........will a lexus dealership inspect a car for you if you ask them.....thats what i would want to do before i bought a car off someone
