Default Power Seat (Driver Side) + Gas Cover Popper out...not fuse..?

Alright, to make a long story short I put a stereo in my lexus and instead of paying a professional I had a kid from my school help me. Long story short some wires were messed up in the back trying to run the subs off the stock headunit. In the process my gas popper and driver side power seat no longer work. When I press the driver seat power button to move it up the seat heater lights light up (wtf?). I think some wires got crossed, twisted, unplugged, etc and it managed to shut both of these off. Originally I figured a fuse blew but the dome fuse or any other fuse they may be running off are alright. Can anyone tell me where the power seat wiring is located and what goes to what? Im confused and this is causing major problems (girlfriend takes my car to school and has to put her backpack behind her just to reach pedals cuz seat doesnt move up anymore

Thanks in advance guys and any ideas would be great.

You are going to need a multi-meter, probes, and time........unbolt the drivers seat and trace the wire harness for the seat adjustments (like wise for the seat heaters). Put the multimeter in "continuity" mode and "ring out" each wire harness to find where the "cross up" is. Go back to every single thing you touched when you installed the stereo and do the same thing. Look for damaged wire harnesses, insulation that has been damaged and probably causing a short somewhere is my guess. It's going to take some detective work now to isolate the problem.
Good Luck and let us know how you make out!
