we had posted a few pics of our ES300 25G on the forum,and on LOC Oz & UK + US. this car was imported into the UK in 2000 is a 95,
but as far as we can see there are only a limited amount of the 25G ( 2.5litre V6 24V ) owners (unless you know different,) as far as we can tell there only about 15-20 of these in the the UK most are the 3.0 litre V6 ?

Just wondered how many are owned on this forum, or were the V6 3.0 more popular? ours has the Camry engine ?

We have found info from japan and tech spec., but thought we'd ask if any of you guys know of one in the US or own one? thanks inadvance

You will see those 2vz motors in the ES250, I think they have to be really rare on an ES in the US.

 

No. The real 300's are 3.0L+.
3vz-fe
1mz-fe
3mz-fe
2gr-fe


In your case it would either be the 2.5L 4vz-fe, or the 2.5L 2mz-fe. Probably the 2mz I'm guessing. So noone here (Or LOC, or TN) will really know anything about it since we don't have those engine families in North America period.

 

is that a fog light next to your muffler?


and 1 more question...

is your car rwd? dunno the specs on 2.5g.

 

Same thing with a smaller engine built off the same block families to lower fuel consumption. Not really any other changes besides many of them being RHD.

Many thanks for the heads up on our Windom,just a few points, we understand that most parts for the 25G are the same as the camry , perhaps we can get the right spec from the Vin number or engine No, Thanks for giving this spec & model ect ( Great help)

We now understand that the ES300 25G was mainly aimed and exported to europe & the UK,although there are few 3.0 litres here,

We have checked the MPG its about 26-28 freeway & 18-23 in town which isn't bad, ( with out power mode on !! the light on the rear is a fog light which are law here, so all imports have rear fogs added most as a seperate system from the main rears, new 17" MoMo's alloys being added next month

oh yeah... do you know anywhere i can get those rear fog lights?
i think it looks kewl =)
