Default starting problem.. need help

I have a 99 es 300 with 90k. recently when I start the car, I need to keep my foot on the gas or it will stall. it is fine once i get going . Im concerned because usually one turn of the key and it fires right up. Please, if anyone knows anything about this type of problem , please respond, thanks in advance

Could be a couple of things.....Fast Idle Valve or Idle Air Control Valve.....both are located on/near the throttle body.

Its cheaper for shops now a-days to just replace an IACV than clean it, which is probably all it needs sadly.

The 3vz's have a coolant line running through them, so im just too lazy and uneducated to clean mine, but that post should be all the help you need.
