Kudos on a job well done and a nice 250 I might add... My mom has a 91 camry same body style she has owned since it came off the lot... I am about to undertake replacing the struts and springs... to bad I dont have acess to a shop the likes of your pics but it will get done just the same maybe a tad bit more sweat...

we don't have the shop either... they fired him this morning. they've had it out for him since he took medical leave and he finally left one toe off the straight line.

at least the 250's done.

good luck with your replacement job, it's totally doable without the nice shop. little more work but doable for sure.

Oh NO!
Those bastads!

I'm so sorry this happened. Looking forward, what's the job market like for him out there in that area? He's clearly got the skills and talent...heck, there are even several ClubLexus THREADS he could forward as a virtual resume, right?

thanks. i've used a few stronger words than "bastards" but that's just me...

with his back trouble and all he's looking into getting back into high end custom fabrication/car audio installs. otherwise a more diagnostic type position at another toyota dealer if possible.

he's got a damn good resume... ase master, toyota factory training, incredible diagnostic skills, can fix any hybrid problem without so much as blinking (you should SEE our post record over at priuschat.com!), over 10 years experience fixing cars, about 5 years professionally, a couple years of car audio experience, etc. has a whole lotta tools, and his own toolbox in storage since the dealership provided boxes at their facility.

the problem is whether he's in shape to make a good first impression. lifting isn't one of his strong suits anymore. so he's gonna think it over, what's best for the long run. meanwhile i'm just being there for him. thanks for the support.
