Aftermarket Subs, Amp, to stock Head Unit
2 12" Alpine Type E Subs
1 8" Rockford Fosgate P2 Sub
1 Alpine MRP-M850
Planning on hooking up some subs just need to buy the amp. I replaced my stock sub with a 8" Rockford Fosgate P2. Just need to know where to connect the REm (Remote) wire to on on the HU.

Well the thing is my cigarette lighter doesn't work, not sure if I need a new lighter or if it's something else. I tried to use a lighter from a toyota Rav 4 but didn't work. But the lighter outlet under the arm rest works as a cell phone charger but if I connect the cigarette lighter in it, it doest work.

Which relay can I hook it up to? If I can get my cigarette lighter to work, what kind of switch and where can I get one? If it's hooked up to a relay this will turn the amp on and off when the car is turned on and off so the battery won't be drained?
Oh and... btw you are right about the 8" sub sounding like crap. I bought this a while back to hold me off until I get my 12's. When I bought the car the stock sub was rip/damaged due to being rear ended. The 8" Rockford Fosgate P2 sound okay in the driver and passenger seats but in the back seat at high volumes sounds horrible.
